A Christmas meal with my volunteer friends. The meal was lovely and was table service this year which was easier than queuing for a carvery. Vegetable servings were just right I thought so not too much waste on our table. Very well organised and spacious room as well. Would definitely recommend this place for an enjoyable value for money meal.

Excellent hotel can't fault it had a wonderful stay staff were very accommodating... breakfast is well recommended, our room way very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. Would definitely stay here again.

Just the one night but what a lovely hotel. Room was spacious and bed really comfortable. Staff were really friendly and the bar is open 24 hours. Perfect for a nightcap

Booked in for one night on our travels to Yorkshire. Room was nice and clean but the bathroom had mould around the bath. The water was luke warm so I wasted a whole bath of water. The shower was ok. No toilet brush grrrrr. Breakfast was really disappointing. Coffee was bitter and cooked breakfast was served on hot plates so at 7.30 it was dried up. They have a big kitchen so why was this not cooked and served up fresh. You can't eat rubber eggs. I was really disappointed considering it looks so posh 😒. Worst part was the constant noise from outside kept us awake it was from an adjoining roof like an extractor allllllll night. I should of complained but couldn't be bothered.

Just great hotel. Food was good and good service. Only one thing. The disabled shower rooms could do with a shelve. As I had to put everything on the floor which was difficult to pick up.

Lovely hotel in a stunning location grounds are amazing. My wife booked this hotel for the night before are wedding and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make the day extra special nothing was too much. The suit we booked they let all the bridesmaids come in and get ready along with a hairdresser and a photographer thank you for an amazing day, wife was so happy with the hotel

On the 10/12/24 we came for a family Christmas meal. The food was excellent. The service was spot on. We were made to feel relaxed which meant we really enjoyed it. Thank you to everyone .

Had my sisters wedding and the staff all gave her the cold shoulder because one of the family members made a complaint about something. The manager rang my sister to tell her our family is problematic. I was quoted 3 different prices for the room and all of them were wrong. The food was awful, the drink were too overpriced. Our room was very dark, basic and had mould. It was supposed to be £150 pn! The radiator didn’t work and the window had a leak so we were shivering all night. Made a complaint and only received a £18 refund. That doesn’t even cover breakfast for two people. Absolutely awful place, the staff are useless, didn’t tell us anything on arrival about the hotel or facilities, the EV chargers didn’t work. The shower heat tap was broke so we couldn’t use it because it was scalding hot. It also had a faulty pipe and water out flood out the cupboard next to it.
